Herpetologic means pertaining to herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians. We have over 20 years of experience with the study, husbandry and propagation of reptiles and amphibians. We specialize in top quality captive bred animals and offer outstanding service and advice. Although much of this site pertains to the sale of reptiles and amphibians; HERPETOLOGIC, above all, maintains its hobbyist roots and passion with respect for each animal it maintains and produces.

We have provided animals to private collectors, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens and research institutions the world over. In recent years, our frogs and snakes have been featured in Newsweek magazine, the Baltimore Sun and CNN News. Our herps have traveled to destinations throughout the United States of America, Canada, Europe, China and Japan. We have worked with, learned from and been inspired by some of the best individuals and institutions the world over. We would be privileged to share with you our experiences and passion for these great creations.

In 2008, THE YEAR OF THE FROG, we are very excited to continue to provide great quality dart-frogs to institutions and hobbyist. We expect to have some unique tinctorius morphs available including Bakhuis, Lorenzos, Lemon Drops, True Sipaliwini, Matecho and Koetari Rivers to name a few. We hope to have available a great selection of tricolors by the Spring of 2008. We have some unique thumbnails now breeding including standard lamasi, orange lamasi, Yuri imitators, Iquitos vents, Uakarii and FI Cainarachi Valley imitator, variabilis and fantasticus.
